PPC Celebrates 10 Years with Sustainability Project

In 2012 PPC is celebrating 10 years since the roll-up of acquisitions that started the company as we know it today.  We decided part of this celebration would be a sustainability project consistent with values articulated in our new mission statement.  This week 10 new trees were planted around the front of our plant to mark our 10-year anniversary.

Trees provide oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, clean the soil, reduce noise pollution, provide a wind break and beautify the neighborhood.  We planted 5 Autumn Blaze Maples, 3 Redmond Lindens and 2 Japanese Lilacs.  We can’t wait to see our new additions next spring when the leaves appear!
